Welcome to Yeast Infection Cure All

Candidiasis is the medical term for a yeast infection due to an overgrowth of Candida yeast somewhere on the body. Although low levels of Candida yeast are present on our bodies anyway and do not cause problems, infection can set in when an overabundance of Candida yeast invades the areas of our bodies where there are low levels of yeast-combating, friendly bacteria. Yeast infections can occur on virtually any part of the body (or systematically) and affect people of all ages, including infants.

Yeast thrive in parts of the body that are warm and moist. The groin area, underarms, folds of the skin (especially in those who are clinically obese) and the mouth are all perfect environments in which yeast can grow. Certain medications, poor diets and even poor hygiene can contribute to the breakdown of yeast-combating, friendly bacteria, which gives the invading yeast free rein on the skin and in the body.

The most common type of yeast infection occurs vaginally in women. A study conducted by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases found that 75% of women have had a vaginal yeast infection at some point in their lives. About half that 75% will experience second and subsequent vaginal yeast infections later on. Men, as well as women, can suffer from yeast infections. They can be transmitted via sexual intercourse, but are just as likely to occur on their own. Babies often experience a build up of yeast in the mouth (also known as thrush) and in the diaper area, which can often be mistaken for a simple diaper rash.

For most people, yeast infections are just mild annoyances that are painfully evident for a week or so over the course of their lifetime. However, if certain conditions are present, yeast infections can become deadly – especially in people with compromised immune systems, such as cancer patients and those living with HIV and AIDS. Once a systematic (internal) yeast infection is present, the mortality rate is between 45% - 75% because systematic infections do not respond as well to treatment as external, topical yeast infections do.

There are a number of over-the-counter and prescription medications available that both alleviate the symptoms of a yeast infection as well as cure them all together. Depending on the location and severity of the infection, medications for treatment can vary a great deal. Some treatment methods only treat the symptoms, but do nothing to clear up or cure the infection itself. Informing yourself about the available treatment options is imperative to curing the infection, not just masking the symptoms. Alternately, there are a number of home remedies that can also be used for treating yeast infections, which may be of interest to those who prefer to take a holistic approach to medicine.

I cured my yeast infection!

"I recently came to Yeast Infection Cure All looking for a while to get rid of my infection. Thankfully, I found something here that I'd never read about before... Tea tree oil. I recently suffered from a yeast infection that had re-occured numerous times. For personal reasons I decided I would only try natural remedies, refusing to try products such as Monistat. I tried both white AND apple cider vinegar, garlic, and even plain yogurt. Without getting into too much detail, I was not happy about the situation and was getting sick and tired of nothing working.

Finally, thanks to the helpful information on Yeast Infection Cure All I found the solution that worked for me. I bought some of their recommended tea tree oil, put a few drops on a tampon, and inserted it once a day for about three days. Magic! I was finally cured. Honestly, if you haven't tried tea tree oil yet, give it a shot. It worked for me, so it just might work for you.

Thanks again for the help!"
